Cambria Shores Inn

Exceeded My Expectations! I booked this last minute because my friends were staying at the property next door, which had sold out—so I ended up here, and I’m so glad I did! This property blew the other one out of the water. Every room had at least a partial ocean view (except maybe the back corner ones), and the grounds were spacious and well-kept with grassy areas and lounge chairs—perfect for relaxing with your pup. They even provided dog towels, bowls, and other thoughtful pet amenities. A microwave in the room made it super convenient for both me and my four-legged travel buddy. The staff were genuinely kind, sweet, and helpful. I loved the cozy coffee bar, wine bar, and especially the breakfast basket delivered to my door each morning—a delightful touch. Honestly, I was blown away by my stay. The photos online don’t do this place justice. Highly recommend!

Pros: -The view -pet-friendly (cute little gift) -breakfast basket -coffee shop / wine tasting / food Cons: -bed wasn’t super comfy (very springy) -staff wasn’t very friendly/warm Overall, I would definitely stay here again. We had 2 dogs and it was easy to unload/load all of our things into our car since we parked right outside. Since there isn’t too much in this little town, it was really convenient having the coffee shop / wine tasting and some food options right by the front desk office. Super convenient!

Really enjoyed it stay here. Clean, comfortable, and newly renovated rooms, with fireplaces. A really nice breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. Glass of wine in the evening with a beautiful view of the ocean. We don't have dogs, but the inn is very dog-friendly. Enjoyed a nice walk on the boardwalk in the morning, which runs the length of Moonstone Beach. Would definitely recommend and come back!

I'm going to rate this place a 5 because it was fantastic at everything it was meant for. The view of the beach and ocean is amazing, the rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff was all friendly and helpful, the morning breakfast basket that they put on a hook outside every room was great. There's a lot of beach views and several restaurants a short walk or drive away, however you prefer. The inn's own restaurant area is small but nice, and there are several areas to lounge outside and experience the ocean view. There is a "but" though that you should know if you're staying in the area. This is a very small and remote town, and absolutely everything closes at 8pm. Seriously, everything. Come to this area hungry after 7pm at your own risk. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat, it's wonderful, and everything you could ask for. If you're looking for late nights, nightlife, anything along those lines, don't come anywhere near the whole city of Cambria. On the other hand, if you can't stand being around that sort of thing, then you'll love it here.

They give you free baskets that have a verity of foods and drinks the beach is just a street away service was amazing not to expensive for the service you get. It's a family owned business free coffee when you get a room. There's also 4 little chairs in the middle of the hotel with a beach side view. And a plus is that there was almost nobody here so a pretty solid place.

We loved the Cambria Shores Inn! We were visiting with our dog and everything was great. The rooms were newer and were generally clean and welcoming. Our only complaints were the DVD player they provided (with a library of DVDs in the office) was not plugged into the TV and no one knew how to fix it, so, that was useless, but we improvised and just stared at the ocean across the street instead. The other issue would be that the window in the kitchen area did not have a blackout shade, so the light was a little much early in the morning. Other than that, we loved it! They offered a free glass of wine at their wine bar, free brownies and cookies each night, a gift bag for our doggo and a breakfast basket that they hung on the door in the morning. Definitely worth it with all the extras and we would happily stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at. Wonderful service, clean rooms and they offer so many extras at no charge from breakfast delivered to your room in the morning, hot cookies and coffee int he office and glasses of wine to enjoy on the patio. I forgot my jacket in the room and they made a special effort and mailed it to me..this is special service by owners who care. Cant recommend this hotel enough. Pet friendly too!!
